Ancient Chinese Chess Board of Song Dynasty

This board as depicted by Lee Qing Zhao of the Bei Song Dynasty (960-1126 A.D.) shows that the board at that time was already identical to that of the modern board. The extra inscription around the board was used for another ancient game known as "Da Ma Tu".
